Job Description:

We are looking for a data analyst with python and excel skills to join our team. This role involves building data bases, performing mathematical analysis, and building predictive algorithms. You will work directly with the chief investment officer.

The position requires maintenance and updating of financial databases, in addition to creating predictive models. The successful candidate is expected to identify and resolve routine problems as well as to prevent future problems. The position will also require the ability to be flexible and to quickly deliver ad-hoc analysis in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills

• University education in applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Working knowledge of English language.

• Mastery of statistical analysis techniques. 

• Mastery of Microsoft excel formulas, functions, power queries, and macros.

• Familiarity and functional use of VBA for excel.

• Mastery of Python for data science.

• Some understanding of financial and economic analysis.

• General business knowledge.

• Ability to maintain appropriate records and documentation.

• Ability to work independently and remotely. 

• Support, communicate, reinforce, and enhance company values and culture.

• Strong problem-solving skills. Can identify a problem and formulate a corrective action plan.

• Excellent at multi-tasking, managing deliverables and established deadlines.
